SZ7799 : Snowhill Creek, mid January

taken 9 years ago, near to West Wittering, West Sussex, England

Snowhill Creek, mid January
Snowhill Creek, mid January
A very similar view to SZ7799 : Low winter sun over Snowhill Creek but a little wider angle and with a bluer overall appearance compared to the gold of that image. A single boat is anchored in the creek.
Snowhill Creek forms a deep V pointing southwards formed by the main coast of the western side of the Manhood Peninsula on the east, and East Head on the west. The tip of the V reaches almost to West Wittering beach, with a very narrow strip of land connecting the mainland to East Head. In the far distance, the long, low hills are, I believe, on the Isle of Wight.
