The green cone-topped structure on a small islet nearest the camera is the starboard (right) safe passage marker for boats passing Pilsey Island. Behind (and either side) of this marker are the port and starboard markers for the SU7700 : Mouth of Thorney Channel.

Fisheries Patrol vessel in a misty Chichester Channel

Seen rather hazily through the mist of an autumn evening, a Fisheries Patrol Vessel heads inland up the Chichester Channel. I have only given its position to the gridsquare as I would be guessing any greater precision.
