Triangulation pillar on the summit of Carn Chuinneag

Carn Chuinneag occupies a remote location south of Strathcarron. In this image looking to the north-west peaks of Coigach can be seen in the far distance. Also distantly and partly snowed, are Conival and Ben More Assynt.

The twin-topped hill of Carn Chuinneag is easily identified.

The triangulation pillar, seen from the highest bit of granite. A cold wet day, quite different from the previous time I was here, when the walk over the gravels between the tops was hard work in the heat.
