The quarry is disused. The scale is not obvious in this picture. Along the top of the quarry is a stock control fence. On the quarry floor, on the far right, is a dumped chest-freezer.

An old quarry track up the hillside ends at this broken down fence with a sheer drop of at least a hundred feet into the quarry a few steps further on.
