The ridge here has rocky outcrops and a number of lochans. This summit is 594m, with Creag Dhubh Mhor to the N at 612m. Loch Carron and Skye are in view.

There is a marked dip in the rocks in this view along the E slopes towards the notch of the Bhealach Bhearnais. These are Moine rocks, originally laid down as sediments up to 1000 Ma (million years) ago and subsequently much altered and compressed.
