There were weird signs here and there and I decided to stop before finding out the bad way if what little charm there is to be found here would be lost.
The art is pretty good, but so much about it is very outdated. I like the action and structure of the panels, but the stories are very repetitive and this is volume 1. It's like the premise has already been worn out and we've not done anything with it yet!
This is just an outdated time capsule with interesting art. Let's not overthink this. Anyway...

The younger brother was literally there hanging in the frame in like, the second or third chapter.
Honestly, now that I'm done with it...it's not great. It's passable, but I would have preferred to read a story about the housemaid the brother instead of this. The character of the mother also had an incredibly weak resolution.
If you want to kill time and want something generic, this is your instant noodles of the night. I needed something light to pull me through the exams so that's fine I guess....more

Which turned a somewhat light-hearted fucked up reading into a tense reading as I went “oh, this is the type of guy who should actually be introduced as ‘from the twisted mind of…’”.
I haven’t watch those movies. I’m curious about them, but extreme gore for the sake of it doesn’t appeal to me. I found this one kind of decent and I appreciate its art and weird premise as well as the weird sexual innuendos from time to time, but it is also kind of repetitive and the art is only occasionally interesting but few images have struck me.
It’s okay. I liked the moment where he kills his wife and she shatters like a porcelain doll. Very random lol...more
