Next Manager Sacked Odds: Favourites Analysed

Russell Martin @ 1/1

Martin did well with Southampton last term, as he managed to get the Saints back in the Premier League at the first time of asking.

They did have to go up through the playoffs, however they still managed to beat Leeds in the final and bounce back to the PL.

Southampton's summer window was far from perfect, with only the likes of Aaron Ramsdale, Flynn Downes and Cameron Archer the only signings that are worthy of being labelled as being proven Premier League level.

They've started this season very poorly, with Soton losing seven and drawing one of their first eight, with only Wolves below them in the league given they've one worse goal difference.

Their poor start was summed up by their most recent game against Leicester, a match that saw Saints throw away a two-goal lead to lose 3-2 in the 98th minute to a relegation rival.

Martin is just 1/1 to go next, a fair price given how poor they've been this term.

Erik ten Hag @ 10/3

Manchester United were very poor last year as they stumbled to an eighth-place finish in the PL, however they did manage to qualify for Europe by winning the FA Cup.

That meant they've won a trophy in both of the years Ten Hag has been in charge, with their win over Man City in May being the only thing saving him from the sack after their poor showing in 2023/24.

It's assumed that United will absolutely need to qualify for the Champions League this year for Ten Hag to avoid the chop, with it remaining to be seen whether they'll manage this given the quality of the sides they'll be competing against.

United have been well below-par this term, with the Red Devils finding themselves in 12th place after eight games, six points off the top four.

They have lost just one of their last five in the league, however they have drawn two of those, form that means their most likely route into next season's CL will have to be via the Europa League.

Gary O'Neil @ 4/1

O'Neil has done well during his time in charge at Molineux following the former West Ham and QPR man's decision to take over just a week before the start of last season.

He guided Wolves to a 14th-placed finish and 20 points clear of relegation, with O'Neil doing well despite a number of his best players being sold that summer.

It's been a similar story this season, with Wolves selling two key first team players in Pedro Neto and Max Kilman, with the Midlands club signing unproven talents to replace them.

This seem to have had an affect on their results, as Wolves have drawn one and lost seven of their opening seven outings.

In fairness to O'Neil, Wolves have had a hard start to the campaign given they've played the likes of Liverpool, Newcastle, Chelsea, Arsenal and Man City so far, as well as Villa and Forest who've both started this season in good form.

The Wolves owners are reportedly still backing O'Neil to turn things around following this, with his odds up to 4/1 after this news.

Oliver Glasner @ 5/1

Things were looking very promising at Selhurst Park towards the end of last season following Palace's brilliant turn-around in form.

The Eagles ended the season in midtable after six wins from their last seven games, form that they've failed to carry on over into this season.

Palace are winless after eight, with Glasner now under pressure after just three points in the first two months of the new campaign.

His price isn't lower given how well Palace performed at the end of last year, however if they're to avoid the drop this time around they'll need to replicate that form sooner rather than later.

How Does Next Manager Sacked Betting Work:

Betting on this market means you are betting on the next Premier League manager to be sacked.

This only applies to the first manager who will have left their current position at a club before kick-off on the final day of the league, 19th of May 2024.

If a manager leaves his club after 15:00 on the final day of the season then this won't count.

If no manager has been sacked then the ‘No Manager to Leave’ selection will have won, whilst if the manager you have bet on is the first to have left his post before then this will count as a win.
