Kim Kardashian Just Went "Clueless Blonde" for Halloween

When you think of Kim Kardashian, your mind probably goes right to her signature all-beige aesthetic, bodycon everything, and, of course, jet-black hair. Obviously, she has switched up the color now and then, trying out honey blonde, icy silver blonde, and white blonde. But, for the most part, she sticks to black, making it so much more interesting every time she decides to switch it up.

The latest hair change from the mogul saw her go back to blonde yet again, however, in a different shade than in times past. On October 29, the Skims founder revealed her Halloween costume, which included a warm shade of bleach blonde.

Her reason for the hair change? Channeling the quintessential ‘90s It Girl, Cher from Clueless, from the roots of her hair to the tips of her toes.

Kim K’s hair was almost certainly a wig, though it appeared to grow right out of her scalp. Traveling to her chest, there was a bouncy volume throughout her straight strands. She styled her hair in a dramatic side part, swooping in to frame the right half of her face. The color was different from the dark honey blonde and icy white blondes she's tried in the past, and was instead a warm, bright shade that perfectly matched Alicia Silverstone's hair in the film.

Down to the style of plaid, her outfit was a one-to-one replica of the iconic yellow set Cher wore. Kardashian layered a white crop top underneath a cropped yellow cardigan and a yellow plaid blazer. The blazer had sculpted shoulders and a black-accented hemline, just like the source material. On her bottom half, she wore a high-waisted pleated miniskirt with the same plaid design, adding a safety pin with a silver chain for more drama.

She kept the accessories simple with a fluffy white backpack, knee-high socks, and some white Mary Janes.

The makeup wasn’t as much of an exact copy as the rest of her look, with Kardashian opting for her signature glam over a '90s schoolgirl beat. Her skin was matte with a sculpting contour on her cheekbones and forehead. She went light on the eye makeup, focusing on long, wispy lashes with a lightly tan shadow underneath. Lips finished the glam—a soft pink matte lipstick that paired beautifully with her hair.

The last addition was her daughter, North, who dressed up as Cher’s best friend, Dionne. North wore the exact same black, white, and red plaid outfit she wore side-by-side with Cher during the film.
