Velvet May is an Italy-born, now Berlin-based musician and singer specialized in New Wave, EBM and Industrial Rock. Known for his live performances and DJ sets, he blends experimentation, meticulous sound design, and rhythmic beats, fusing industrial grit with Body Music, Rock, psychedelic and breakbeat influences. Starting his career in Naples with the 'Wave In Transition' collective, he started his career performing in various Italian clubs under different aliases. He studied Audio Engineering and Sound Design, later working on soundtracks for broadcast and film. His project debuted in late 2018 with the 'Vast As Black Night' EP on his Tears on Waves imprint, gaining significant support.
