Introducing J Bookey: The 23-year-old Drum and Bass artist from Cannock, West Midlands. Having released on labels such as DNB Allstars, Crucast, Invicta Audio and now Ministry of Sound, 23-year-old Bookey’s versatile production has led to support in sets from industry heavyweights like Skream, Bou, Turno, Skepsis & Sub Zero. J picked up production at 18, spending hours on end studying A.M.C sets to develop his technical skills. Since his first release 3 years ago, Bookey has made a name for himself in the drum and bass scene with his fast-paced and energetic mixing style, which has taken him from playing live-streamed lockdown sets from home, all the way to venues like Bristol’s legendary Lakota.
