The location is perfect, a lovely farm with easy access to the lake or the ocean! Fab evenings in the garden, very tranquil and calm. Pascal is a great host, very helpful and with some good ideas and advice re the area.

35 km from Biarritz La Négresse Train Station in Hasparren, Maison Irriberria provides accommodation with access to a sauna, hot tub and fitness room. The accommodation features a spa bath. the facilitées are great. the cabane is fine. the staff are amazing.

Situated in La Valade, in a historic building, 48 km from Matmut Atlantique Stadium, Chai Crann Piorra is a holiday home with a garden and barbecue facilities. Wow, incredible space for the price. As a solo traveler, it was more space than I needed. But it was fully stocked. Plus, the hosts were incredible and I added the excellent breakfast onto my reservation. Thanks for the good conversation and memory!

A beautiful little house, hosted by a beautiful little family! Just perfect. Comfortable, well equipped, spotlessly clean, quiet, lovely area, easy parking outside and made so welcome.

Situated in Saint-Julien-de-Piganiol, 49 km from Aurillac train station and 49 km from Cantal Auvergne Stadium, gite de La Carrière offers barbecue facilities and air conditioning. This is a beautiful place that has been built and furnished to a very high standard. The beds were very comfortable, everything you need is there inside!very clean and the hosts were very attentative and offered advice on the local area. We stayed as a stop over on the way to the south but wish we had stayed longer!

This property exceeded all expectations. Our hosts, Corrine and Philippe were delightful. They made each and every pilgrim feel important and included. The property is spotless, the meals are generous, delicious and some of the best I’ve had on the chemin. Philippe’s jams (over 20 varieties) were a real treat, that elevated breakfast to a new level.

Le Mas Réolais, a property with a garden, is situated in Saint-Sève, 21 km from Graves et du Sauternais Golf Course, 25 km from Grotte Célestine, as well as 25 km from Marmande Golf Course. Everything! The warm welcome from the host, the most beautiful room, the comfort, the attention to detail and ambience were all exceptional. It was the most exquisite stay we have ever had in the French countryside.

Located in Les Eyzies-de-Tayac and only 22 km from Sarlat-la-Canéda Train Station, Comtesse de Dordogne provides accommodation with lake views, free WiFi and free private parking. We had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful and interesting place. Les Eyzies is steeped in pre-history - you can see 17,000 year old cave paintings right there in the village. Our house at Domain de Comtesse de Dordogne was beautifully furnished and fully-equipped to a very high standard and was spotlessly clean. The houses are set among extensive grounds, with a river, a fishing lake and a waterfall – birdsong is everywhere. Each house has a well-furnished shaded patio, with barbeque facilities and we ate outside a lot. Although other houses were occupied while we were there, we hardly saw anybody, and we had the pool to ourselves. The owners, Jean Claude and Lizette, were very friendly and helpful, both before and during our visit. We didn’t have a car with us, so it was useful to have a supermarket and bakery just minutes’ walk away. The house we stayed in was light and airy with a huge modern living room giving beautiful views over the grounds. We thoroughly recommend this place.
