Situated in Iboih, 200 metres from Iboih Beach, Santi Garden Bungalows features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a private beach area and a terrace. The bungalow was great. Clean, lots of room and the location is close to Olala restaurant and the village itself. Robi the manager is very helpful and always checking to make sure all is good. Staff were friendly. The snorkelling right of the dock (which is Olala’s but they were fine with Santi using) was fantastic most days. Definitely would return here

We highly recommend the place ! Andri was very kind and helpful. He arranged transportation to/from Bukit Lawang. He also arranged a day trip to the jungle with our guide Jhony whom we recommend as well! The place is by the river and absolutely lovely.

Situated in Bukittinggi, 1.5 km from Gadang Clock Tower, Padi Ecolodge features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a restaurant. the view , the atmosphere, surrounded by greenery and its clean. the padi fields are real and close. The stuff are accommodative and nice people.

Sam's Bungalows And Treks has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Bukit Lawang. The accommodation features room service, a tour desk and currency exchange for guests. Sam is an attentive and friendly owner and his staff are excellent! Pipie his main guy was always there to chat and help plus he played Rummikub with us at night! The restaurant was very good with a great selection of food with amazing value! They booked out car from Medan and gave a motorbike ride to the hotel which added to our experience! We also booked a jungle trek with Andre and Rama as our guides… they were patient and fun to hang with and the provided a wonderful lunch plus we saw six Orangutans with a mom and baby within 5ft! A definite recommend to our friends !

Facing the beachfront, Jungle Inn Bukit lawang offers 2-star accommodation in Bukit Lawang and features a garden, private beach area and terrace. Where to begin. From the moment we arrived (at 10.30pm might I add, when the staff picked us up from the car park), we were warmly welcomed and looked after. Everyone was so kind. They all knew our names and provided exceptional service. The view from the restaurant is incredible and probably the best in Bukit Lawang being on the corner of the street with a path to the river to swim. You can sit there for hours taking in the view and ordering delicious food. The room was lovely and spacious. Very clean. I was worried about creepy crawlies but only saw butterflies. Now for the trek. The staff arranged our 2N3D trek with Ebo and Anen and the chef (whose name we have forgotten but the food was some of the best we have ever had). This was one of the best experiences we have ever had. Both guides were knowledgeable, friendly, caring and gave us the most memorable time. Ebo’s English is fantastic. He was so kind to us and taught us so much in the jungle. Anen prepared us fresh fruit on every trek break. Both had a great sense of humour and helped us see 5 orangutang and other wildlife. It was so relaxing and serene. We couldn’t recommend them more. We were so sad when it was over and are missing it already.

TheJungleGuide - Lodges & Treks has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and restaurant in Bukit Lawang. I booked my stay, jungle trek and transfer with The Jungle Guide and it was honestly one of the best experiences of my 4 month trip. The staff were incredibly nice and very good singers. The accommodation was clean and exactly what you want before and after the trek, with a nice balcony and hammock. The trek itself was incredible. Bob is the best guide and helped me safely through the jungle, with much expertise about the wildlife, jungle and local culture. He knew fun facts and of course the amazing viewings of the animals such as Orang-utans, and views. Could have wished for a better guide! The accommodation in the jungle was basic but had all necessities, and a nice stream to cool off, and the food was so good.

Elephant Inn and Suite by Sajiwa is offering accommodation in Bandar Lampung. Featuring a restaurant, the 2-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. I had gone into hospital and could not check in for the dates I had booked. I was warded for six days, during which time they held my room for me. I was very grateful.

Located in Bukit Lawang, Rambai Tree Jungle Lodges features a garden, terrace, massage services, and free WiFi throughout the property. We stayed there before and after a 4 day jungle trek during the low/wet season. The bungalow was located on the river, right at the edge of the jungle. There are frequently macaque and Thomas's leaf monkeys in the trees and jumping on the roof. You can leave non-food items on the patio (like clothes drying after the jungle), but the host advised us to keep the door locked when we aren't around to keep them from coming in. We specifically chose somewhere without AC to acclimatize to the temperature and humidity, but ventilation inside was good. Porters met us at our taxi to carry the luggage through the village and across the bridge, which was appreciated.

Set in Jambi, The Difan Hotel offers 3-star accommodation with a garden, a restaurant and a bar. Beautiful small hotel. Very clean rooms with a super comfortable bed and a great hot shower. Very friendly and helpful staff! Great hotel! Highly recommend! We’ll be back for sure!

Set in Lubuklinggau, Grand Zuri Lubuklinggau offers free WiFi throughout the property. We booked this hotel for my sister in law and her family. They told me they had a great time. The room was very clean and comfy, the breakfast was wonderful and plentiful and the rooftop pool was amazing.
