Hotel le Rocce - Agerola, Amalfi Coast 4 stars

Hotel in Agerola

Situated in Agerola, 2.6 km from Fjord of Furore Beach, Hotel le Rocce - Agerola, Amalfi Coast features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Exceptional! The only true disappointment was that our visit was limited to just one night. Every aspect of our experience exceeded our expectations (as the price per night is not that high compared to other options on or near Amalfi). We made the decision to upgrade our room (from standard to a sea view), and we wholeheartedly recommend this to future guests! The difference in experience is truly indescribable. The room was on a higher level, and the breathtaking panorama was worth every penny of the 60 Euro upgrade. What also needs to be highlighted is the breakfast and our dinner: (1) breakfast: an absolute delight, offering a delicious array of fresh and flavorful options (for the price, we really did not expect such a wide selection, not to mention the amazing breakfast waiters willing to go the extra mile) and (2) dinner: unfortunately, our visit fell on the only day of the week when the hotel restaurant is closed (wednesday). However, the hotel’s exceptional service shone through once again. They arranged for a shuttle to take us to the nearby Baccofurore restaurant; the entire process was seamless, we truly had the best experience and also the best pasta in our lives! In conclusion, our stay at Hotel le Rocce was perfect. The only way to truly evaluate it is to return for a longer visit. :) Thanks to everyone, including the hotel manager - you can feel that he really cares about the hotel and its quality, which is reflected in the wonderful stays.

Fico D'India Relais 3 stars

Hotel in Furore

Fico D'India Relais offers a welcoming environment surrounded by nature. The establishment is also famous for its delicious cuisine. An incredible stay in Furore, we loved every bit of it. Holidays Fico D’India is a charming hotel in Italy’s Furore, around 15 minutes away from the centre of Amalfi Coast. Our room was very clean, very neat, and simply charming. We had a beautiful terrace with panoramic views of the sea from the hilltop. Breakfast was fantastic, delicious Italian selections. Dinner was wonderful as well, the restaurant at Holidays Fico D’India is really really special!! A big shoutout to the incredible hotel staff. Pino, the hotel owner, was a very delightful man who truly cares about his hotel and guests. Thanks for the great hospitality, Pino!

FAQs about hotels in Amalfi Coast

A Feast For the Eyes

Comprised of brightly coloured villages cascading down sheer cliffs, the Amalfi Coast is on the opposite side of a peninsula from Sorrento. Between the UNESCO World Heritage-listed villages are lemon groves and winding roads hugging the coastline that are definitely not for the nervous driver!

In wonderful Positano, delicately positioned houses somehow manage to cling to the cliffs. The next village along is Praiano, on a flatter piece of land and with a 12th-century church. Furore in the hills above a fjord has its own winery.

Amalfi itself is picturesque, as it rises from the harbour to the top of its 13th-century cathedral. As the coast’s largest town, it has a good selection of bars, restaurants and accommodation. Adjoining it is Atrani, a fishing village with a dramatic, beachside road supported by arches.

High above is Ravello whose Villa Rufolo’s landscaped gardens offer magnificent panoramas of the coastline below. Due to its position, this town boasts the Amalfi Coast hotels with the best views and, of course, prices to match. Back at sea level Minori and Maiori have the longest beaches.

Due of all this splendor, you might struggle to find cheap Amalfi Coast hotels, but there is also a selection of affordable apartments and B&Bs on Booking.com, and in any case the fantastic views makes the price well worth it.
