The staff quickly learns your name and how you like things (e.g., when housekeeping comes to the room, how much milk you want in your coffee). All of the employees are very personable and committed to the guests' enjoyment of their stay. The hotel is on a beach, literally, and the sunsets are magnificent. Lots of activities are available directly through the hotel -- we took a sunset cruise and experienced bioluminescence during a magical evening that started and ended right in front of the hotel. Food and service are excellent. By the way, the flan should not be missed!!!

The beachfront Hotel el Velero boasts an outdoor pool and a private beach where you can choose to swim, lounge or relax. Great hotel great location on the beach with still water room.was amazing clean with all facilities. Also restaurant and bar are great 👍

The hotel grounds are amazing. The building was tastefully built and well maintained. The food was outstanding!!! The people were helpful and welcoming.

Set in Playa Hermosa, 37 km from Tamarindo, Golden Palms Papagayo features free WiFi access and free private parking. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Staff brilliant, breakfast very good. Facilities first class. Pool and hotel grounds are excellent. Rooms are very spacious and bright. We were entertained by a family of howler monkeys that would come into the trees around the pool and feed on the mangoes. It's better than any national park. Plus, we have seen an armadillo and an exceptionally large iguana in the grounds. If you want isolation and a quiet break, this is the place to stay. Restaurant food very good, just the menu is a little limited. The hotel is a little isolated, and you would need a car to get around.

We stayed for 1 day at Hotel M&M. Location is above and beyond, just in front of the ocean. Breakfast was included and was great too. We had a great time. The only thing to note is that the shower doesn’t have a hot water, water was rather cold than warm all the time.
