There's nothing not to like. From the hosts, to location, through the facilities everything was perfect. Host speak Czech, Russian, English and does understand Polish which made everything so easy as we were an international group. Breakfast and dinner were excellent 👌 Perfect location to visit both Saxon & Bohemian Switzerland as well as spots like Dresden, Bautzen or Kokorin. Value is just incredible and the host is second to none.. highly recommended

The staff were exceptional including the newbies serving in the bar/ restaurant The rooms were comfortable and we had a kettle to make a cup of tea. We enjoyed our breakfast each morning and there was plenty of variety

Set in Nový Bor, 36 km from University of Applied Sciences Zittau/Goerlitz, Grandhotel Nový Bor offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. As only one guest at times during my 7 days stay the staff made everything possible to make my stay comfortable, including some none standard equipment, such as a tea kettle and a refrigerator. The beds were comfortable, the hotel very quiet and the heating worked well. Breakfast was served as a buffet style and I could even order extras such as scrambled eggs as a courtesy request. The hotel is dated, but clean and functional. Couple of minor issues were motion activated corridor lightning did not work well and a shoe horn wasn't on the room. All in all value for my money and I recommend other to give it a shot 👍🤪
