Hotel Galántha features a fitness centre, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Eisenstadt. Fantastic new hotel, with convenient underground parking. The room was facing the main road but the isolation was good enough to protect from noise coming from the street. The room was equipped with a coffee maker and a kettle! Finally, a hotel that accommodates the basic need of preparing our tea. The bed was comfortable, with plenty of space for your clothing in a built-in closet. There was also a useful desk and a short built-in loveseat, a round small coffee table, everything in modern design. The bathroom had a great shower, both a rain shower and a removable shower head, all made of great pensive hotels. I loved the high quality of the new blow dryer. Another feature I've never happened to encounter, not even in 5-star hotels we stayed. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant which was very tasty and the breakfast also offered a variety of options to choose from. The roof floor included a sky bar with indoor and outdoor seating, and a nice setting with a beautiful view of the palace, old town, and surroundings. Overall, we were very satisfied, much beyond our expectations, and would come again!

The hotel and room was immaculate, with the room being much larger and more modern than we anticipated. Breakfast was a plentiful continental buffet with everything you could need. Though we didn't have the opportunity to eat there, the restaurant was very smartly presented and was bustling with locals. It was a really pleasant stay and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

The small capital of the Austrian province of Burgenland has a great history (Esterhazy, Haydn), the castle and its park and the churches are worth a visit, the Neusiedler Lake and great wineries are nearby and a bunch of cultural festivities waiting. Good food is served in Henrici´s across from the castle.

Mörbisch am See is a good base for exploring Burgenland. One can easily cross the border to Hungary by bicycle. Also with a bicycle you can go by boat across the Neiderler See and ride around the many bike trails in the National Park.

There are a number of places to visit in the town, more than can be seen on a day outing from Vienna. Some savings in buying one joint entrance ticket for 2 - 4 areas. Best to do some research or background preparation (Haydn/the Eszterhazy family/Burgenland) before coming. Don't miss the Schlosspark (free). Several small cafes and eating places, but only one good, but expensive, restaurant.

Absolutely amazing hotel right by the lake. We were completely satisfied there. Hotel is very luxury and new. We stayed in big hotel suite with balcony and lake view. All equipment is modern. We really enjoyed sunbed on the balcony. Suite also has a kitchen, which is very convenient. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Outdoor pool. Burgenland card is included, so you have a free entrance to all beaches around the lake and discounts to some museums, castles and many other places.

Modern, bright and airy hotel well positioned for Podersdorf beach and cycle routes. While we did not use the cycle hire option, it's a great feature! Breakfast was brilliant. I love this kind of accommodation (small, family-run) when staying in Austria. Perfect short bike ride to the lake, free entrance with Burgenland card provided by the owners. The owners are very nice, willing to reccommend / help, they prepare good breakfast. Guesthouse is located in the centre, close to the restaurants, wine heurigens.
