Bu Ninik and her son went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Their photos are true to what we expected. The house is clean and neat, the bedrooms and bathrooms are well equipped. We got complimentary extra pillows and blankets. There are ACs in the bedroom above, but the weather is cool and lovely anyway ... The kitchen is tiny but very well stocked. There are some cooking ingredients plus oils and spices, drinks, and extra gallon of drinking water to enjoy. There's also a washing machine but didn't try it. But the soaps and all are available. The seating areas are cozy, the balconies are also nice. The outside area is also good to seat down, and the kids can run around outside without fearing for their safety. The bakso vendor nearby also sells good bakso 🙂 We are a big family and we'd probably will come back if we ever visit Batu again.

The most incredible views i've ever experienced. Didn't have to share with anyone else. The house was super well stocked and I didn't have to leave. Breakfast was super good, service was impeccable. It's worth every single penny.

Highly recommend staying here! great location for surfing, and a place to chill and meet locals and other travellers too. Cubo was incredibly hospitable and welcoming felt like we were apart of the family! Was super helpful organising transport, scooter etc for us too. Thanks so much and we will be back!!

What can we say about Agus’ homestay? We really recommend it to everybody: Agus and his family will welcome you as part of the community. Breakfast prepared by Agus’ wife was delicious: we’re a vegan couple and they didn’t hesitate to give us traditional food, but in the vegan version. Agus brought us around the village, showing real batik art and factory, explaining how the life in a small village works. You can have interesting conversations with him and enrich your point of view about many aspects. Here it’s possible to rent a motorcycle and arrange for some tours at a reasonable price. If you love staying in quiet and peaceful places, this is the right place for you!

Sudji's House se encuentra en Batu, a 10 min a pie de Taman Wisata Tirta Nirwana Songgoriti, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, wifi gratis, cocina compartida y salón de uso común. The property was super big and clean. The owner and the housekeeper took care of me since i completed the booking. She recommends some activities using the facilities available such as barbecue night. It really has everything we need. Full set kitchen, clean bathroom with basic amenities, and bedroom with many many extra bed. Fit for family with 15 members traveling. The interior was great (i guess it's a new building), nice furnishings, there's even sofabed for afternoon hangout. The downstairs room was suitable for a family member who's using a wheelchair. And the most important thing was: not spooky at all 😆 In terms of accessibility, it's only 8 minutes from alun2 batu, close with many tourist attractions, restaurants and recreation parks. Perfect. We will definitely come back.
