It’s the coziness and feeling of comfort as soon as you step into the reception/cafe area. Upstairs is the living room complete with fireplace and candlelights. The ambience, music, smell, decoration of the entire place were all so perfectly curated to match a gentle chill out vibe with an amazing view of snowy mountains and fjord. Dinner was simple healthy dishes cooked Norwegian style and breakfast was a tasteful healthy buffet. This is honestly a true wellness retreat for body and soul. And here I haven’t even mentioned the Jacuzzi under the stars! To top it off we witnessed the spectacular display of northern lights - all within the comfort of our bedroom!

The townhouse was clean, spacious, nicely furnished and close to a good grocery store. We loved the movie room, spa and jacuzzi. It is an easy walk to central Tromso.

Plus of course the nature around it is just epic. So all in all - thank you for a great experience and memories!

Wow. This was by far the nicest stay we had in Norway. The owner was super friendly and welcoming and really made us feel home away from home. The sauna was super nice with view over the Fjord and the hot tub nice and warm. Everything was clean and the vibe was really cool. We had an amazing dinner with local food and delicacies - by far the best cod we've ever eaten. And everything accompanied with nice wine. There was so much attention for us to make us feel happy and welcome. I recommend this place 10/10. Thank you very much!

So, these sneaky people went ahead and upgraded my room to a kind of junior suite for no particular reason. The room was very nice, but the best part of my stay was the bed. You know a hotel bed is good when you crawl into it and immediately envision yourself doing nothing but hanging out in that bed the following day. It was extraordinary. On to business… I arrived to Tromsø after 7 days of goofing off all over northern Norway and with a ticket in my pocket to head to Svalbard on a research trip the following day. I NEEDED to do laundry. They not only have a free laundry room but give you washing powder and offer a drier… this was CLUTCH. I slept like a dead woman, got my laundry done, had a great breakfast and plan to go back to St. Elisabeth when I pass back through Tromsø later this month.
