I had a wonderful experience in this hostel, Daniela and Lubosh(Tony) make you feel amazing, her coffee is the best and the food is amazing, sunsets there are really nice! I loved the peace in this place!

La Urraca Loca Hostel er með garð, verönd, veitingastað og bar í Balgue. Gististaðurinn er með grillaðstöðu og er staðsettur í innan við 12 km fjarlægð frá Maderas-eldfjallinu. The property is situated in a beautiful setting with a lovely relaxed and quiet atmosphere. Everything was super clean and neat, with everything you could need during a stay on the island, including access to book tours or rent scooters etc. Highly recommend, and I would go back :)

Cabañas Privadas Dilany í Moyogalpa býður upp á 3 stjörnu gistirými með garði, veitingastað og bar. Absolutely everything. This experience isn’t like a hotel but like a home. The family that owns this place makes you feel comfortable and safe. Mom cooks the best food on the island. We loved the dinners and breakfasts. We loved the peace and serenity of the local neighborhood but still having a nice common area.

Hostel Life is Good er staðsett í Moyogalpa, 39 km frá Maderas-eldfjallinu, og býður upp á gistingu með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði, sameiginlegri setustofu og verönd. I loved the atmosphere of the hostel. In the evening time they had candles everywhere and lights. It was so beautiful. They also have a lookout place where you can see the volcano during the day and stars at night time. It was a super quiet and chill place. They also had kitties which is a big bonus.

El Zopilote Permaculture Farm/hostel er farfuglaheimili fyrir bakpokaferðalanga og á sama tíma sveitabæ. Boðið er upp á ýmiss konar gestrisni, svo sem einkaherbergi, svefnsali, tjaldsvæði og hengirúm.... One of those hostel you can't leave. Stayed for 8 weeks.

Cocos Hostel er staðsett í Moyogalpa og er með garð. Verönd er til staðar og gestir geta nýtt sér ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði. The host! She is amazing!! She helped us with everything, we got sick and she literally took care of us. The location is great and the rooms are big enough with private bathroom, the breakfast was amazing as well.

Rainbow Caravan Hostel er staðsett í Las Pilas, 17 km frá Maderas-eldfjallinu og býður upp á gistirými með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði, sameiginlega setustofu og veitingastað. The place was very clean and tidy, tranquil, and no noise at night which is rare in Nicaragua because there's always someone making some noise. The food was quality, homemade vegan goodness. Making a fire was cool and it has all the modern amenities like a fridge and cooking equipment so you can bring beer. Didn't have any bugs unlike some of the other hostels i stayed in on Ometepe. It's quite a good location equidistance between the two towns and near the start of Volcan Concepción. I recommend renting an ATV rather than a scooter at the port and picking it up in Ometepe, don't trust the people on the San Jorge side. The hostel also offers scooter rental although I picked mine up at port. Very photogenic hostel and peaceful.

Þetta litla farfuglaheimili er í fjölskyldueigu og er aðeins 2,5 km frá Altagracia. Það er umkringt náttúru og er nálægt Ogo de Agua, Altagracia, Vulcano Conseptition og mörgum fleirum. Learned this was one of the original hostels on Ometepe. Breakfasts and dinners were freshly prepared with local ingredients. Their dogs and cats were very nice to spend time with. The hosts can lease scooters and deliver them for competitive prices. Communication with host prior to and during stay was excellent.

El Pital, Chocolate Paradise er með garð, sameiginlega setustofu, verönd og veitingastað í Balgue. Gististaðurinn er 3 km frá Santo Domingo-ströndinni og 11 km frá Maderas-eldfjallinu. The Place is incredible the view out of the room amazing. El Pital is the best pleace to eat for me in ometepe.
