Perfect break before Lugo in a long leg of Camino Primitivo. Worth the 2km off-camino! Beautiful house, nice rooms, comfy bed and blankets (best night I had in the entire camino). Food and hospitality were excellent.

Warm reception. Good hearty vegan dinner. I managed to save some leftover for breakfast and snacks on the trip. Nice not showers. Easy to come to as it was right on the Camino itself. Nice little waterfall to cool your tired feet.

At the end of Spain amidst beautiful nature you will find an antique house with a lot of charm. Don’t expect luxury but authenticity away from civilisation.

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
I was given a nice, comfortable single bed, not a bunk bed. All the facilities - bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, lounge - were spacious, new, clean and comfortable. The receptionist was helpful and friendly, and gave me a good explanation of the hostel's facilities. This should have been a great hostel with a perfect score of 10, but...
A warm welcome in this hostel on the Primitivo. We were in a mixed dormitory of 10 people with 2 bathrooms outside the room. There is a small bar and restaurant. They have their own font with drinkable water.
There is a nice outside area and good sized restaurant. Good evening meal and breakfast.
Nothing was too much trouble.
Right on the Camino Primitivo.
The location is perfect. The hostel is really clean. Our possessions felt safe in the locker at the end of our bed. There was a small kitchen to be able to prepare some food if needed. Our check in process was smoothe. The price is very cheap, so while I do have a few negative things to say, I would say it is still okay value for money.
Best hostel on the camino. Clean, comfortable, well looked after, spacious, kitchen, fridge, quiet location, great beds with curtains, amazing friendly accommodating staff.
Impecably clean throughtout
Great kitchen faciluty. Perfect location.
Christina & husband were very helpful & operate an excellent service.
Great stay in Lugo..one of the best hostels over 36 days of walking the Camino.

Great location and beautiful hostel at a reasonable price. Perfect for a moment of respite during the Camino or to stay and visit the city. Hosts were friendly and helpful! Complimentary tea made mornings and nights nicer : )
