Facing the seafront in Bunaken, Sunset Guest House & Bar has a private beach area and a bar. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. Helmi and family were extremely welcoming. Acommodation simple but clean and great value for money. Right in the centre of the village and only a few meters walk from public boat. Best guest house food we have ever had! Great variety, quality and quantity. Helmi organized great local snorkellng trips on his boat. Overall, a wonderful stay in Bunaken.

Located in Rinondoran in the North Sulawesi region, Tangkoko Macaca Resort features a garden. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. We had a very nice stay at Macaca Resort. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. The staff is very friendly and the food is very good. Our guide was very helpful and easily organised by the resort. We didn’t want to leave!

The atmosphere is calm, close to the pier and two diving schools. Communication in English is done through Stefen, who runs a nearby homestay. He is very friendly, like Mamalis and Papasem, whom you can talk to in Indonesian and through translation apps.

Located in Bunaken, EL Homestay Bunaken provides accommodation with seating area. There is an on-site restaurant and free private parking. This was without a doubt the best homestay we have experienced in two years of traveling through Asia. Stefen has been an incredible help with everything we needed and organized for us one of the best tours of our lives: the dolphins, Nain Island sandbank, and Siladen snorkeling tour. It's been two weeks since we left his homestay, and we still think daily of our time there. We would love to go back as soon as possible. The food was delicious and very healthy.

Situated in Likupang in the North Sulawesi region, Pondok Wisata Noah has a terrace and mountain views. With inner courtyard views, this accommodation offers a balcony. You are really lucky if you can stay at Pondok Noah. Rein and Martha are such lovely people with such a big hearth for their guests who become friends. Likupang area is great. The jungle style bamboo is very cute (cold shower totally fine), yammi local food. This place you should not miss out! Best wishes

FRANGKY HOMESTAY is set in Manado and offers a garden and a shared lounge. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. It was a perfect stay! We stayed there for 4 nights and it was one of the best places we have been. It's a real island experience. You can go diving or snorkeling everyday. Frangky also offers snorkeling and dolphin tours which we did and it was amazing! We had all inclusive which was totally worth it because it tasted wonderful! The rooms are simple but really nice and comfortable. For 3€ more you can get a room with an Aircon if you need, otherwise the fan is also working quite good. Frangky also helped us to organise the trip to Gorontalo from Manado which worked out really good. All the people there are really nice and you feel welcomed from the first second. I can only recommend to stay there!
