I am really surprised to find this hostel partitioning each bed with solid partitions and doors, so that every guest has maximum privacy and large personal space! AND it is super close to good food and cafes!

My Guesthouse 109 - SELF CHECK IN is located in the bustling George Town. The no-frills accommodation offers guests access to a shared lounge to socialize or simply relax. I loved everything about this house. I chose this initially as I wanted to experience living in a heritage listed place. The interior reminds me of a Wong Kar Wai movie. This place was well managed where it was immaculately clean. May, the host was so very helpful and was contactable all hours of the day. I initially booked a room without a bathroom, though due to unforeseen circumstances she had to upgrade me to a room with a bathroom on her! I highly recommend this place and if my friends visit Penang I'll be sending them here. Oh. So I forgot my passport and wallet when I checked out. She went above and beyond to ensure that I was able to collect the items. Thank you May. You're doing an amazing job.

Heritage Villa by Aayu features air-conditioned guest accommodation in George Town, 2.5 km from Northam Beach, 700 metres from 1st Avenue Penang and 800 metres from Wonderfood Museum. We had a lovely stay at Heritage Villa by Aayu. The villa was centrally located which made it incredibly easy to explore the streets of George Town by foot and there are amazing food stalls at every turn. Our room was well appointed and had everything we required for a comfortable stay including a very effective air conditioner. The host was proactive and made check in a breeze, providing a suggested itinerary and a number of online maps. Everyone at the villa was so kind but one of the highlights was meeting Desmond who had so much knowledge about the area and was always keen to hear about our plans for the day provide suggestions to enhance them. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

I would like to say it is better than all the unit I stay before. I definitely will come again when I hit Penang!! Worth to rent, spectacular Seaview, and fully air-conditioning for each room and living room. Feeling like home. Equipped facilities for comfortable stay. Overall facilities were very good. Swimming pool fit for my children, gym room and BBQ area look nice also. Great service. The host is very friendly and responsible, able to respond quickly and clear instruction given. Nice place for rest.
