Company information

We are family owned property. Our three kids attend the local school here. Heavily involved in the coral restoration project in Ocotal - we can tell you lots about projects to protect and care for Costa Rica especially the oceans. We're photographers, owned studios in the states. With roots in California and Texas as well as family in Costa Ria - doing what we do here has been a dream for 30 years so we're hear pursuing our dreams excited to share Pura Vista.

Property information

The house was built 20 years ago and was one of the first houses in Playa Ocotal. Owned by an art collector from France, later adding to the house to have a luxury hotel with the impressive view of the Papagayo peninsula. Now owned by photographers and inspired by the history and majestic views - you'll find photography, art classes, yoga and local artwork throughout. Each room enjoys a sea view with a private terrace and or patios. The beach is just a 10 minute walk away for diving and water sports. Stay on property and fully divulge in Pura Vista, make it a beach day or an unforgettable day trip with waterfalls, thermal pools, rafting, diving, snorkeling, volcanoes, surfing, atvs, zip lines.... The list goes on.

Playa Ocotal is fairly quiet.... You can snorkel seeing turtles, octopus, spotted eagle rays right out front including watching humpback whales from your room and pool at Pura Vista Hotel.
