Quiet, serene location. Cute funky cottage with loft sleeping area, easy to manage stairs to the loft. Resident cat made herself comfortable. :) Got to feed the sheep by hand. Very engaging and welcoming hosts.

Located just 15 km from Toitu Otago Settlers Museum, Hunters Moon offers accommodation in Mosgiel with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as a shared kitchen. John is very welcoming and helped a lot.it’s very hard to run a farm but he did it well ,great!

My daughter and I loved the very special location of the farm at the tippy top of the South Island, with its spectacular views en route and once we arrived. The cozy, comfy bunkie and sweet porch were a perfect mini-retreat, and we appreciated the warm hospitality of our hosts, Sea and Karl, along with their local knowledge. We enjoyed meeting many of the beloved farm animals with their hilarious names, and visiting the local swimming hole, the spectacular walks, and the incredible nearby Wharariki Beach (which was so cool even in the partial fog). All of these elements contributed to our wonderful unforgettable time at Mælstrøm End Eco Farmstay and our visit to this serene yet vibrant corner of the Earth (we already miss their magical and friendly white shepherd dog!)

Set in Onekaka, River Song Retreat Golden Bay offers accommodation with seating area. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. I loved my stay. It was peaceful and recharging. I spent the whole day in the site because I just needed to rest without going anywhere. And it was beautiful! There is plenty of shade and areas you can seat. A little bush walk. Lovely river. Kitchen, toilet and shower are spotless. Bed is very comfortable. Plenty of pillows to feel at home. I also had a reiki session as this visit was my two nights retreat. I wish I could stay longer and I’d love to come back!

The host was lovely and very help full. The cottage was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The hot-tub was fun. The surrounding beautiful.

Featuring a garden and views of mountain, Bauchops Hill Station Farmstay is set in Burkes Pass, 31 km from Mt. Dobson. Absolutely loved every bit of our stay at Bauchops Hill Farm. The cabin was clean, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed for cooking simple dinner. It was really charming and quiet. We booked the farm tour! Dion’s shared his knowledge of running his farm with us whilst driving us across the fast farmland. It was a really cool ride up and down the hills, meeting with the farm’s cattle along the way !
