I had such a beautiful stay here! I'm a solo traveller, and I felt so very comfortable and welcome! The place had everything I needed and a lot of fresh air, quite and chill atmosphere, and nature all around. comfortable bed and a wonderful shower. Host was so nice and helpful with everything I needed! she was responsive and very caretaking, made me feel at home! The only thing I was sorry about is that I couldnt stay for a longer period of time :)

Set in Pianoro, 20 km from La Macchina del Tempo, Pizzicalaluna offers accommodation with pool with a view, free private parking, a garden and a bar. I stayed for 5 days here while working in the nearby town of Pianoro. From start to end it was an excellent stay. This agritourismo is managed by Giulia and Elizabeth. They are very friendly and accommodating. I am coeliac and they offer gluten free breakfast items, and also can cook a gluten free dinner. The house itself is at the end of a small quiet road. It is absolutely silent in the garden. My apartment was spotless. Bedroom had great air conditioning so sleeping in the heat was excellent. Giulia offers wine tasting and has excellent recommendations, a really enjoyable activity. I cannot wait to come and visit Pizzicalaluna again

Everything! Beautiful surroundings, detailed care on rooms, outstanding breakfast and dinner. Nice service and hospitality

Immersed in nature, 5 km off Castenaso, Agriturismo Primaluna offers rustic-style rooms and studios. BBQ facilities. Potatoes, corn, wheat and onions are grown on site. Great place to stay with friends as there are two rooms so we had the place to ourselves. Close to town with the tranquility of the countryside!

Offering an outdoor swimming pool and free bike rental, Palazzo Minelli is set in a restored 15th-century farm estate, a 30-minute drive from Bologna. Staff went out of their way to be friendly and help with anything. Bed very comfortable, heat worked great. Slept like a baby.

Offering a large garden with pool, eco-friendly Agriturismo Il Cavicchio is 15 minutes' drive from the centre of Bologna. Surrounded by vineyards, it features country-style rooms and free Wi-Fi. Very beautiful property in excellent location! I also loved the breakfast, which contained a lot of local and self-made products. After breakfast, it is possible to bring own food and use the dining room (no kitchen access though, but cold food can be stored in the minibar). Very attentive staff. Great for our small daughter.
