I loved the garden and the spacious area there. I felt very comfortable and enjoyed the nature a lot. I also totally loved that they are focusing on sustainable tourism and eco friendly procedures. Water refills were free of charge.

Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. Our home away from home! Me and my friend have stayed here for a week in order to explore everything that Labuan Bajo and Flores island has to offer. And we would have never imagined that the highlight of the trip would be the homestay and all the amazing people that run it! From taking care of my friend who had an injury from a surfboard experience to taking us on sunset trips to the most amazing places and even making us food for picnic (best fried noodles I’ve had), Ellen and the team are some of the most amazing people we’ve ever met! The accommodation is not in the main touristy area but we loved that aspect because it meant we were more connected to the locals. And, it’s just a 10 minute grab bike away from town! The place is really cozy, has a nice backgarden breakfast place and also a “relaxing” spot where you can play games or watch netflix! Not to mention to lovely cats, Luna and Zoey! Would defined recommend you to book with them, such amazing and caring people!

Featuring water sports facilities, the resort is close to several noted attractions, around a few steps from Karawo Island Beach, 400 metres from Nisa Saloka Beach and less than 1 km from Muntia Island Beach. Guests can have a drink at the snack bar. Everything at Menjaga was incredible. The staff were so friendly and hospitable, the food served from the restaurant was fresh and delicious and the rooms were absolutely amazing with the most gorgeous sea views. We loved kayaking and snorkeling in the bay and even saw a turtle about 20metres from the jetty. They have board games in the boma where meals are served and a pool table for entertainment. Their cocktails and fresh juices were fantastic and the bar at the end of the jetty had stunning sunsets. We will definitely be back again!

Upon my arrival, I discovered a teaching class in progress for some children, as the school was closed that day. This was a commendable initiative by Lina. I was warmly greeted by Alin, Febri, and the entire staff. They made me feel right at home. The common area, which also serves as the dining area and features an outdoor seating arrangement, is the best part. The room was small but very cozy at the same time. Very minimalist and beautiful. The washrooms are located outside separately and are impeccably clean. Plus - they have hot shower available all the time. They serve simple and delectable breakfasts in the mornings. I particularly enjoyed the mini pancakes; their taste was simply great. The ambiance of the place is incredibly inviting and homely. I was so impressed that I wanted to extend my stay for another night, but unfortunately, time constraints prevented me from doing so. Ruteng, a small town, was the perfect place for a walking tour. Febri, a kind-hearted guide, explained everything so well. They also arrange trips around and outside the city. Do inform them beforehand regarding your plans.

THE BESTEST FAMILY EVER. we felt like home as soon as we got in. literally the sweetest most warm and loving lady runs it. Breakfast is amazing, the beds are comfortable, free tea coffee, and did I mention how lovely the lady that runs the place is?? Cannot mention it enough. There’s a little cat there too Lilo that is such a darling.

My room was on the ground floor, just a stone’s throw away from the pool. Wake up to the refreshing sound of the water and jump right in! The minimalist design of my room was perfect for me. The highlight was the spacious and unique washroom with the pipe shower. The water flow was so inviting that I couldn’t resist taking a few more showers after my first one. Just remember to save water, though! The rooftop area was my favorite spot. It offered the best views of the entire property. I spent a lot of time here, working, eating, drinking, and simply admiring the surroundings. And mind you not to miss the spectacular sunset from here. The food menu was limited, but the items were carefully selected and prepared. I tried their Nasi Goreng seafood, which was absolutely delicious. Overall, I had a wonderful time at this place. Keep up the great work, and don’t forget to thank the friendly staff for making my stay so enjoyable.
