The eco-friendly, family-run Das Grüne Hotel zur Post - 100 % BIO enjoys a quiet location in the Maxglan district, a 5-minute bus ride from the centre of Salzburg. The family room was a great size for the four of us, and was exceptionally clean and seemed to be recently refurbished. The staff on reception and at breakfast were all friendly and very kind to us and our young children. Travel to the hotel from the airport was simple and fast on the bus, under 30 minutes. Once at the hotel, it’s a short 10 minute bus journey into the city centre, and the hotel is on a main road with food shops, pharmacy and restaurants just a couple of minutes away. Perfect hotel for a short break with family!

The 3-star Hotel Astoria is just a 15-minute walk from the historic centre of Salzburg with the Festival Hall and Mozart's birthplace. There is a bus stop directly in front of the hotel. Everyone was so welcoming!! Everyone was great! Herzlichen Dank fuer alles!!!

Built by the famous architect Jakob Ceconi, Villa Ceconi is just a 5-minute bus ride from the centre of Salzburg. It offers free WiFi in public areas, and private parking is available on site. Very quiet but close to the center. I liked that that we could easily park in front of the house. the breakfast is in another building but we did not mind the short walk. The breakfast had a variety of options. If I visit Salzburg again, I will stay here for sure.

Very spacious apartment that was clean and comfortable. We are traveling as a family of 5 and had plenty of room. We only stayed one night but would have been very happy to stay longer. Would highly recommend.
