The location is at such a nice spot, close to the town (like a 2 minute walk close). The staff are SO friendly and welcoming. The room was much better than I expected, spacious, with a large balcony. I also like the swimming pool.

Elektra Beach Hotel is located on the beachfront of Kalamaki, 4 km from Chania. Overlooking Chania Gulf, it features a swimming pool and a shallow pool for children. The straff was nice: from bartenders to housekeepers. They were friendly and chatty, they remember you:) A man at the reception (maybe the owner) waited for us until 6am because our flight got very delayed! We were in a separate unit with suits where there was an own swimming pool, but we also could use the main one with the pool bar. Both swimming pools are very clean with a good temperature, and there were sun beds next to both of them. The pool bar offers plenty of drinks as well as the food there was very good, especially pizzas and burgers. Our room was freshly renovated and modern with a comfy bed, good AC (cools the room fast, has a sleeping quiet mode), fridge, kettle, some kitchen appliances, etc. Shower was good as well with all necessary things. The room was cleaned every day at the perfect time of the day when we were out, they even mop the floors in the bathroom. There are cute cats, one of which is very friendly and playful, it made our evenings so much better!

It is located at the center of Fira, there is a market close by, the bus station is a 2-3 minutes walk away and the center is around 5 minutes away. I would definitely recommend this. The personel is very kind and ready to answer all of your questions. They give you coffee and tea every morning. Clean and comfortable. It is getting cleaned every day as well as the towel get changed. Before leaving after the check out, you can leave your bags at the reception.
