We had an amazing stay. The house was clean and well prepared, there are comfortable beds. It is very close to the Maehama Beach which is wonderful. We also experienced lovely encounter with the family living in the house. Even though, there was a language barrier (Japanese/English), we managed to communicate smoothly and also got some amazing recommendations regarding the island. Highly recommended!

The place itself is so beautiful. Very clean with an incredible atmosphere and artistic touch to every room. But most of all, the people were amazing. It's a very social place to stay, and I made so many amazing international and Japanese friends. Highly recommend to everyone!

Happy Island Miyako is one of the best guesthouses we’ve ever stayed! Feels like home and wished to stay longer. Max is indeed one of the best hosts ever, together with Shiori. Our Miyakojima experience is so memorable with these guys! Our bed is comfortable, everything you need is here! free towel rentals, toiletries, water, condiments for cooking and even laundry! We’ve celebrated Max’s 60th birthday and this night is one of the most memorable nights I’ve ever had in my backpacking experience. The host also helped us to rent a car during the busiest days of Obon week. We are truly grateful! Thank you so much, Max and Shiori (and Happy!!) !!! Indeed a wonderful experience. Indeed a ‘Happy Island’ Miyako ^_^

Travelers House おーさんてぃん青空舎 se encuentra en Taketomi, a 14 min a pie de Playa Naarasa, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y terraza. I loved everything. The host was very kind, helpful and fast to reply. The communication was excellent. The breakfast was delicious. The room is very charming and relaxing. The welcoming foot bath had a very nice smell and was very much appreciated. I would love to come back!!!

This guest house is amazing! We loved our stay here. The owners of the guesthouse are so friendly, Andy helped us whenever we needed it and made sure we had a good time. The communal space, the kitchen and the sanitary are great and well equipped. We also loved the interior desing of the house. Would definitly come back!

I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. The rooms are great. The airconditioner was especially usefull to have beacuse of the hot weather. The owner is really nice and helpful.
