The place is really nice and the owners are great. I was on the line with them all the time so they helped me reach their place. Their place is around 3km from the ancient city. They have bicycles for a small fee. The road next to the lake is amazing. I loved it. The room was spacious and cozy, hot water was available. You can get AC for an extra charge but I think a fan is enough. The food mom cooks is very delicious. I had dinner and breakfast with them. They were there to help me with everything and give me information about my sightseeing. I def recommend this place!!!

Very well located close to the bus station to/ from Dambulla, restaurants and main road to find tuktuk The room has AC, very good breakfast, one of the best of our trip in srilanka! Try the banane pancake! And most importantly incredible staff, very nice, welcoming warm and helpful! Thank you!! Perfect for nature lover

HOT SHOWERS! this place was great for so many reasons - hot showers, super kind host, surrounded by nature (host took us on a night walk around the property to see animals), great wifi, delicious food, cold beer, clean room, bicycle hire, great value for money, located at the exit point of the ruins so it’s really convenient after a long day of wandering around the ruins to just pop out at the end and be at the accommodation.

Situated in the heart of Polonnaruwa and overlooking the panoramic Parakrama Samudraya, The Lake House provides a peaceful getaway featuring elegantly furnished rooms and free internet access. Location was perfect. The room interior and ambience was classy and retained sri lankan features. Spectacular view. And service was par excellence. Didnt have enough. Definitely coming back for more.

New Haven Polonnaruwa has been, by far, the best guesthouse I've been in my whole trip. The place is brand new, extremely comfortable and clean. It is also decorated with good taste. The exterior area, still under construction, is spaceous, and has a lot of possibilities. It has a traditional kitchen built in clay, and an area to have breakfast/lunch/dinner very cozy and nice. Congratulations to the chef! Food is so good! The owner, Iran, puts a lot of love on the project. Also he has shown me his amazing paddy field, we've collected coconuts together and do not worry if the place doesn't have a swimming pool (yet), because he took me to a canal for a nice swim very near from the place.

R & D Resort ligger i Polonnaruwa, tæt på Polonnaruwa Station og 800 m fra Kaduruwela Jayanthi Piriwena. Der er balkon med udsigt til haven, have og grillfaciliteter. The apartment was very spacious and equipped with everything we needed. We slept very well here! The apartment is located close to the station, but it is still quiet. It is well conected with Pollanaruwa and other cities. The hosts were very kind and helpful! We came as guests and left as good friends.

Beautiful, big house that you have all to yourself, in a spectacular natural setting. The host is extremely helpful and obliging. The downside is that the property is a little far from the main road, and not really in walking distance. That means that you are entirely dependent on ordering a tuk tuk (which, it must be added, the host is always ready to do for you.) This is not really a problem, but it is not as easy as being in the town itself.
