Very beautiful property located near the back waters. Very peaceful and clean, the hosts were awesome people, very down to earth and discussing everything like family members. They helped us a lot about places to visit and arranged a boat ride and a cab for us to travel. I would definitely stay here again if I come to Alleppey in future. Beautiful location and by taking the deluxe room, I had a view on the ocean ! It was so relaxing to be so close to the beach and the owners were very welcoming.

This bed and breakfast offers free private parking and a 24-hour front desk.... Looks unassuming from outside but one of the cleanest and well kept places we have stayed in 4 weeks in India. Facilities and view from balcony was brilliant. Owner and family were so helpful and lovely, gave us plenty of recommendations for places to hike and also gave us 20% off massage. Our hot water stopped working and owner son came straight to fix it and was so sweet. It was my birthday while we were there and they even gave me chocolate from their shop as a present. Honestly one of the best places we have stayed in India, great location in Munnar as well as it is not right in the centre where it is noisy, but is still walking distance from everything. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone.

La Lune Fort Kochi is situated in the Fort Kochi district of Cochin, and is 200 metres from Kochi Biennale. Lovely property which is walking distance to many amazing little side streets. The ferry is close as well. Rooms are nice and clean and I felt very at home. Breakfast every morning was delicious and Joseph and his wife went out of their way to provide us with everything we needed.

Situated in Kannur and only 400 metres from Thottada Beach, Ivory Coaste features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. We liked everything about this welcoming homestay - our home for 6 nights. Situated a couple of minutes walk via a quiet village road to the lovely beach. Freshly made food was delicious. Warm and attentive Aparna (the host) made us immediately feel at home. We just left and are already dreaming of coming back.

Ganesh Ayurveda Holiday Home bed and breakfast is set in Kovalam and features a private pool and pool views. The property has river and garden views, and is 14 km from Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple. It is on the edge of a lake, covered with purple flowers depending on the time of day and water levels. The dichotomy of wealthy (empty) vacation homes and tiny traditional villages is interesting to experience. The villagers are very sweet and children come from the houses to greet passersby. The pool is very clean and a rooftop terrace is a nice place to have breakfast, write, relax and do morning yoga. We had some great Ayurveda massages and the owner had a group dinner prepared for us one night to share with the other guests. Many don’t like the distance to the beach, but we appreciated being out of the hustle and bustle of Lighthouse Beach. NYE we moved to the beach with bus loads of people coming in from the country…we may be regretting our change. Murugan, the host, is an Indian Mr. Roark and will do everything in his power to make your vacation comfortable.
