Beautiful oasis by the river. Bungalows are comfortable, cool, and tastefully decorated. Be sure to wander on the path at dusk and at dawn to see all the birds. I would give 11/10 if I could! Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Situated in Kalpitiya, a few steps from Kudawa Beach, Surfpoint Sri Lanka Kite Village features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a private beach area and a shared lounge. SurfPoint Sri Lanka is a really cool spot to spend time, to base from for kiting and/or to take lessons. I did lessons and the quality of the instruction was outstanding. The hotel is comfortable and has a really nice common area where people hang out, eat, and talk story about the day’s adventures and have a laugh. Nevertheless, the hotel is nice and quiet for sleeping. The value is excellent, the food is good and competitively priced, and the staff are wonderful. I highly recommend SurfPoint Sri Lanka, and I plan to return.

Sandy Edge has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Kalpitiya, 400 metres from Kudawa Beach. There is a private entrance at the chalet for the convenience of those who stay. I felt like I found my home. The owner and his family were very kind and friendly. The food they made was amazing. They organized my transfers and the activities I wanted such as jeep to the tip of the peninsula and tuk tuk around to see the donkeys. The views were amazing.

Super nice pool and areas to relax. Peaceful and relaxing vibe. Yoga at the deck in the morning was so amazing, the staff and owners are super friendly and really serviceminded and the food nice. We will come back for sure☺️🙌🏻

I stayed in hostel, owner was awesome man, very hospitable and friendly. We talked few hours about life. It was nice that he gave all information about kitesurfing. When I came he provided welcome drink smoothie wooden apple mixed with coconut, really delicious. When I wanted to go around, he provided bicycle for free, it was other bonus. I could meet his kite surfer friends, that also nice. He had nice dog as well.Unfortunately, I couldn’t stay long because kitesurfing season was over, no wind. Every bed has mosquitoes net and fan near by. It was great experience to stay there.

This hotel is great value for money. Nice room with amazing views, big swimming pool overlooking the beach and very good food and friendly staff. I will definitely come back in January to learn kitesurfing.
