Oliver, Sebastiana and their children are a lovely family who you instantly feel at home with. The room we had was spacious, private and had a beautiful view of the lake. Hot water and WiFi worked amazingly for the area and the food provided (for an extra cost, but really good value), was very tasty and varied. There are a few walks to do in the area to keep you busy, and Oliver can also take you out on his boat to some of the local islands and to see the trout farm he runs (again, for an extra fee but for what you get, we thought it was really good value for money. You have to remember you have the boat completely to yourselves and there were no other tourists on the floating island we visited, making the experience very authentic). There's a really nice outdoor seating to enjoy the sun and view. Getting there is also very easy with collectivos going regularly from Puno and Juliaca for next to nothing. Very hospitable and kind family! It was interesting for us to observe the life of the local people. Very tasty food (besides breakfast there was an opportunity for lunch and dinner). It is very calm around, no city fuss, we really rested our souls. Picturesque places nearby. It was possible to negotiate with the owner about the boat to the islands Amantani/Takile. And the alpaca lives here too!

The host was super helpful with coordinating our way onto the island and a tour around the Uros islands too. The food was amazing and it was overall a very great value. Even had wifi!

Maya Inn се намира в Пуно, на 700 метра от пристанище Пуно, на 600 метра от крайбрежната алея Bahia de los Incas и на по-малко от 1 километър от парк Pino. I arrived by bus and it was a 10 minute walk to the hotel, the location was easy to find, very central, just one street back from the main road. Check-in was easy, everything was explained and I was shown to my room. The room was perfect, with plenty of space, clean, fresh bedding and towels, everything clean in the bathroom, quiet and warm considering the temperature got cold outside at night. Breakfast was included, eggs, bread, jam, fruit, yoghurt, juice and coffee or tea. Lake Titicaca pier was a 2 minute walk, and the city center was about 10 minutes away. The staff were very friendly and English is spoken. Although I didn't go, a trip to Lake Titicaca can be arranged. Puno has a nice atmosphere and I liked the hotel and staff, the location was excellent and the price was more than reasonable.

Fresh milk from cows, papas from his garden…my body was so happy to eat organic food and breath clean air! Alberto was so kind to organize my trip ! Can’t thank enough:D!!
