Tagoto features a hot public bath, Japanese-style and Western rooms and Japanese cuisine, a 5-minute drive from Aizu Wakamatsu Station. Wonderful hotel! All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. The twin beds are firm and the bedding was nice and warm for winter. The bathroom in the room is compact and functional, and there was the option of the private bath downstairs. The food was outstanding- the taste and presentation was incredible! Be prepared for a full stomach as everything was delicious! The breakfast rice bowl (plus the other dishes) was the best way to start the day, and coming back in the evenings for a home cooked meal was very relaxing and special. I hope to come back one day.

Located within 35 km of Nihonmatsu Station and 10 km of Fukushima Station, Guesthouse Oyado Iizaka provides rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Fukushima. This is definitely the best hostel experience in Japan this time. My room is tatami room so you sleep on the mat just like scenes in manga. Hosts are super friendly and welcoming. They do not speak much English but Google translate does the job. They even took me to an amazing local BBQ restaurant(燒鳥) which was beyond my expectation. Btw they have two cute and energized corgis you might come cross.

Very friendly hosts who went out of their way to make our stay very pleasant and enjoyable. The building is comfortable, the onsen is great to relax, and the food is so fresh and tasty… highly recommend!
