The food was great, each meal was made up of various dishes, typically japanese. The view of the lake and mount fuji from the room and the public bath was breathtaking. The staff was very kind and helpful. They can pick you up from the station and drop you off too. The room was clean and quite large, more than enough for a couple.

Just 250 metres from Zenko-ji Temple, Matsuya Ryokan offers simple Japanese rooms with tatami-mat floors, a green-tea maker and an attached Western bathroom. The hotel features public baths. If you want to stay nearly in the temple, surrounded by cute shops and hidden restaurants, this is the place. The breakfast is a piece of art.

Oyado Koto No Yume ligger blot 2 minutters gang fra Takayama Station og har farverige værelser i japansk stil, kildevandsbade, en restaurant der serverer morgenmad samt gratis wi-fi i hele bygningen. Great breakfast. 3 choices of set meal; Japanese, western, or fruit and bread. Staff very efficient and friendly. Fun little gift shop and origami folding area. Mattress and pillow soft and comfortable.

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. Everything. Best accommodation I have been in my travel's life so far.

K's House Ito Onsen - Historical Ryokan Hostel ligger i Shizuoka i en 100 år gammelt fredet hus, blot 7 minutters gang fra JR Ito Station. I have been wanting to go to Ito for a very long time and when we started looking for places to stay I saw this gorgeous Ryokan. My family and I stayed there for 3 nights and we were blown away by how amazing it was! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming and the room itself was gorgeous and cozy. However my favorite part would have to be the onsen water itself after adventuring around a lot of central Japan the past couple weeks a soak was what we needed and K's house did not disappoint.

7.8 km from Lake Kawaguchi, グランファーム富士河口湖 Granfarm Fujikawaguchiko is a recently renovated property situated in Fujikawaguchiko and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. The room was spacious and the facilities were very clean. Great for families.

A recently renovated property, 富士吉田たまきや is set in Fujiyoshida near Fuji-Q Highland, Oshijuutaku Togawa and Osano’s House. The house is very clean. There are two toilets, one at level 1 another at level 2. The bathing facility is at level 1. At first , we were shocked to see the stairs… but we just left the luggage at level 1 and do our laundry everything at level 1. It even comes with heater at the laundry area. The washing machine and dryer are working really good. The mattress and blankets are so comfortable in this winter. The location is so convenient , McDonald with a great view of Mount Fuji is just opp down the road. Daiso and onsen are just next door.

The home had an amazing view of Mt Fuji, so our family enjoyed the view! The beds were some of the most comfortable we have experienced during our time in Japanese hotels/Air BnBs. The owner was very sweet showing us around the home at check-in, and they provided a complimentary bottle of water, tea, and coffee (nice extra touch)!
