We wanted to stay in the city to discover the Arenal Area and we are glad that we have chosen Suwa Villa. It is a new complex with about six rooms. The hotel is not directly visible from the street. The rooms are nicely decorated, clean and had everything that we needed. The accommodation has a washing machine for the guests which is really great. There are plenty of restaurants and coffee shops in 5-10 minutes walk. Parking in front of the hotel. Easy communication with the hosts.

It was an amazing spot out of town so nice and quiet but easy to walk into town. The river was beautiful and so refreshing all to ourselves. So peaceful on the balcony listening to the rainforest in the morning and at night.

Some places get an 11/10. This is an authentic Costa Rica experience, away from the mass tourism of La Fortuna but also close enough to get there in a few minutes (by car) or even walk. The cabin is spotless, cold AC, warm water and good WiFi. Carlos and Rosie are the most wonderful hosts. You're staying in a working farm, so you can milk cows (and drink fresh milk) and see some wild animals up close, including sloth, monkey and toucans. As others mention the hummingbirds like to congregate in the garden. There is a little country store nearby with a few essentials, and the community is real and safe. Nice country walks.

Casa Cafetal Aeropuerto terletak di Alajuela, 30 km dari Taman Nasional Poas, 17 menit jalan kaki dari Stadion Alejandro Morera Soto, serta 8,6 km dari Taman Viva. The location was superb as I was leaving the next day in the morning to the airport. The house was clean and offered everything I needed: clean shower, clean bedroom, clean towels, coffee machine, free coffee and a fridge. It has many other amenities that I would have used should I have stayed longer than 24 hours.
