You are welcomed by the great hosts (owners), in this recently opened mountain house in a small village near the Bohinj lake. Everything in the house is new, perfectly clean and very cozy. Ideal starting point to visit the lake, the Vogel mountain area and the many waterfalls. Don't forget to book a horse riding trip in the ranch 100 m from the house. The village of Bohinjska Bistrica is also pretty, and it's fantastically framed by the mountains and forests all around. Near the hotel, there are Spar and Mercator markets. The hotel is very comfortable, there is relatively lot of parking space. The aquapark, connected by a corridor to the hotel, was quite large and pleasant, with unlimited free entry. The appartment is located in a quiet part of the village and comes with a super sunny outside terras. We could also use the 4 electric mountainbikes as well as the sup boards at the lake. The bikes allow you to do most visits around Bohinj by bike, which is the best way to visit. And to top everything, Simona´s mom surprised us with a homemade strudl on our second day.
