Located in Kiwengwa, Kuwa Zanzibar provides free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a bar, a garden and a private beach area. Guests at the aparthotel can enjoy an American breakfast. A perfect place for me, an intimate and quiet place. The accommodation feels like being with friends in a villa and not like a hotel. Breakfast is recommended with fresh foods and local pastries. The staff were great and helped with every request. Thank you, we will definitely be back.

Nyumbani residence is a home away from home. I liked the spacious bungalow with all the things you need. Comfy beds with nets and power supply nearby, great shower, fully equipped kitchen and a lovely verandah outside. The pools were great to jump in with good beach beds aside. The breakfast had everything you need with a daily freshmade cake. Paola and her team are at your service all the time and very helpful. The location is a bit inland but at walking distance from the beautiful beach where there are many opportunities to have a meal. Otherwise, you can use delivery services or just cook yourself.

A recently renovated aparthotel in Matemwe and within a few steps of Matemwe Beach, Just Heaven Apartments has a private beach area, comfortable allergy-free rooms and free WiFi. Location is amazing, views of sunrise on the beach are spectacular. Pictures of the room were accurate. Staff are wonderful, someone checked each day that we had everything that we need. The place has high-end finishes and everything you need in the kitchen. Yes, the building is under construction, but the room is complete enough to be comfortable with no problems. There are a few finishing touches in progress, but our stay was very comfortable and quite lovely. Added bonus, there's an excellent Padi-certified dive shop (Kibwana) right next door, my husband did four dives and I snorkeled. They had great gear and took good care of us while in the water. Right on the other side is an excellent local restaurant, ChiChi, and another restaurant two doors down that was also very good (Hebe Bungalow). If you plan on using the kitchen, I would suggest buying supplies on the way as there are limited groceries within walking distance. Otherwise you need to take a taxi to the store. That said, the staff made it clear they would arrange anything we needed during our stay. When they offer to arrange a taxi to get you to the property, I would recommend accepting. Other taxi drivers do have a difficult time finding the right spot, and they won't be any cheaper.

Set in Jambiani, just 200 metres from Jambiani Beach, Babu Villas offers beachfront accommodation with a private beach area, pool with a view, a garden and free WiFi. Wow wow wow! What a gem in Jambiani! We loved absolutely everything, from the quality of the accommodation, the friendly and helpful staff to the location and access to the beach and the many restaurants nearby. Selina, the property manager was friendly, approachable and an asset to the team, whilst the ladies on site every day were all incredible. They couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfast far surpassed our expectations. They went out of their way to ensure our dietary requirements were met, and everyday they provided us with so much yummy food and fruits. The transfer from the airport was organised and stress free. We loved watching the sunrise every morning from our terrace. Jambiani is slightly quieter than other parts of the island which we loved and the property is so peaceful, despite being 3 apartments it’s quiet and everyone is respectful. This was our favourite part of our trip to Zanzibar and in hindsight, wish we’d stayed longer than the 4 nights we had. Highly recommend!!!

The location is just perfect too, it's a beautiful place right by the ocean (I would definitely recommend getting up early enough to catch the sunrise at least once:) The food at the restaurant was perfectly fresh and delicious every day Couldn't imagine a better holiday and we just can't wait to come back!:) Thank you!
