Just 0.9 mi from the town center, Gateway Motor Lodge - Wanganui offers free Wi-Fi access and free parking access, including parking for boats, horse floats and trucks. We liked everything about the property. Our spacious room was fantastic, with all the necessary amenities. Sue, the woman who assisted us at the property, was also tremendous in all respects, arranging for our late arrival and helping with a number of questions that we had regarding meals, places to visit, etc. We would highly recommend this motel to anyone!

I was able to check in earlier than the required check in time to unpack and park my vehicle so I could attend my Uncles birthday party across the street. A huge bonus thank you very much. Comfortable beds clean and all round enjoyable stay. Will definitely stay here again.

The Grand Hotel is located in the center of Wanganui, opposite Cooks Gardens Sporting Complex. It offers free parking. All of the comfortable rooms include modern facilities. The room was awesome. Much better than the last time, lots of natural light aswell so it made the room super warm. Room was lovely I even had a bath. Which was great
