There was a communal sink and shower available. So much easier when you don't have time to shuttle to a hotel.

Located in La Paz, 1.1 km from Parque Mirador Teleferico Station, Club Spa provides accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking and a restaurant. We ended up here as we wanted someplace near the airport that had parking. They turned out to have a small garage within the bulding, which we could use, but I don't know if it would be a problem it there were more guest. Lots of street parking outside - my guess it is would be safe, but I don't really know. Guidebooks suggest El Alto may not be all that safe and the area nearby is certainly not fancy, but we walked to/from the nearby purple line teleferico (5 blocks) in the dark early evening and felt fine about it. So it was easy to get down to the tourist-friendly area of La Paz. The room was clean and comfortable and warm, and there was hot water in the shower, though as often seems to be the case, no shower curtain. Room is small but not a problem for our one-night stay. We were able to pay by credit card though the staff seemed somewhat unfamiliar with operating the machine.

The host Marlene is super helpful, it felt like I was staying at one of my family member apartment and somebody was always there if I needed some help or I had a question. I was visited La Paz in December, the room was warm and cozy, hot water any time of the day. Small kitchenette with all the basics, you can also find restaurants, stores just steps away and open markets are all around the apartment. Actually it feels that you are staying in the middle of a giant street market. Downtown and all the main attractions are walking distance, 15 -35 minutes so I never had to take public transportation. No charge for towels or linen, even it is listed on the apartment description. Check in/out, payment was easy and smooth.
