Set in Wondai, Wondai Accommodation Units And Villas features accommodation with seating area. The property features lake and garden views. The room and facilities were very clean and tidy. The room was equipped with everything we needed to cater for ourselves. The bed was comfortable and we both slept well. We were only there for one night as we were travelling through but could easily stay for a couple more days to explore more of the area. The small dam on the site which had a number of resident birds was great to get some photos of wonderful water birds and some superb wrens. We also walked maybe 500 m past the gate on the park through dingo Cree park to find a number of king parrots as well as pale face lorikeets.

Situated in Wondai, Sawmill Hotel Motel has a restaurant, bar, casino, and free WiFi throughout the property. Rooms include a patio. Receptionist (in the hotel) was pleasant but neglected to inform us that their restaurant was closing early that evening! Ugh! Meant we had to go out (in POURING rain) to find an eatery. No bench space at all in the room. It's a good sized room but needs something you can put your gear on! We are too old to be sorting belongings on the floor. And there is no m'wave (which is my fault as I just assumed all accommodation has that now).

Featuring a saltwater swimming pool, a restaurant and a barbecue area with outdoor seating, Wondai Colonial Motel & Ivory's Restaurant is just 700 metres from the Wondai Heritage Museum. Rooms were nice and dark. Very clean and cool. Food at the restaurant was sensational 😋

Murgon Motor Inn is located across Murgon Golf Club, a 5-minute drive from Murgon Showground and South Burnett Wine Trail. It offers a restaurant, a saltwater outdoor pool and barbecue facilities. The motel was a great place to stay and the restaurant had lovely meals!

We visit friends in the area annually if we can and Redgate ticks all of our boxes. Lovely and quiet, very clean and comfortable and budget friendly. The perfect alignment. Big thanks!
