This city is just the right size for a "home vacation"...
This city is just the right size for a "home vacation" stayover: great bars and restaurants and plenty of sights and activities, but small enough to avoid flooding by tourists. The Air Force museum is a must, and there are plenty of parks for picnics and people-spotting. Also, you can kayak down the main stream or try the cable wakeboard facility. Nice city. More beautiful than I expected. Stora torget has a good ambiance with bars, restaurants and people. Cozy cafeteries, shops... The cathedral is also beautiful. The city has plenty of gardens, to see, walk and enjoy nature. I specially liked Vallaskogen Naturreservat. The Friluftsmuseet Gamla Linköping is great! An open air museum with a collection of houses, gardens and shops showing the Swedish life a hundred years ago.ÁÁlvaroSpain
