This is a border town between Bulgaria and Romania, and the only reason we found ourselves there was to wait for a PCR test unexpectedly before crossing the border. There are fairly good facilities there, ie a Carrefour and Kaufland etc. There are also some restaurants and takeaways if you find yourself there. We went to Pizza Misu, and one pizza was great, one not so good, but amazing value for money (around £6 for 2 large pizzas!) Like everywhere in Romania and Bulgaria, there are many stray dogs and so it is not very pleasant to walk around with your own dog, but it is interesting.EleanorUnited Kingdom
