Tuakau is a great lil community and not too far from the motorway. Has all the basics needs avail in it's little town. The locals are friendly. Good cafes to get nice food and coffee. I highly recommend Sugar Plum cafe and Chez Bean. I always enjoy my visits here.
A nice river walk and a bush on walk called Alexander Redoubt. Easy town to walk around. Only 7 mins to Pokeno and 10 mins to Pukekohe it's a great central point to take a break.

The room, but keycard wasn't working so couldn't go anywhere as we'd have to leave our room unlocked so we could get back into our room. Manager was great opening the door with her master keycard but she couldn't get another keycard till the morning staff came on shift

My stay was not for holiday or travel. It was the best place for short term accommodation in relation to the corona virus crisis and my work.

Great location and facilities, particularly the kitchenette in our apartment. Beds super comfy. Very bright lights outside shining up to the hotel frontage - blinds good.
