The location was very good as it was close to the city centre and the people we came to visit. The view from the dining room was great. the décor in the dining room and the terrace outside was nicely done.

The friendly staff provided us with all the necessary information.
The hotel is very well located on the beach and a few minutes walk from the city center.
For people who love a real hotel atmosphere, with a beautiful reception, a lobby with lounges to relax, here it does not really exist. The reception is in the restaurant opposite, which is part of the property. The building is more of a residence. The rooms are quite spacious, a nice modern bathroom, but our junior suite didn't have a table or desk and no chair (!) , just a small sofa with a small coffee table. The breakfast was good, with enough choice of hot and cold dishes, but not exceptional.
On our demand, the parking allowance in the street along the hotel was organized in advance by the friendly stuff at the reception and had to be payed separately, there was no parking problem in the area, but we were not there in high season. It was e nice trip in a good hotel.

Wonderful View over Westershelde with all those ships.
Lots of shops including grocery stores. Lots of places to eat; especially options of bars/restaurants near the beach.
Train station had intercity trains and all stops so it was very handy.
None of the places I went had english translations which is chill it just made it a little more difficult.
DEFINITELY recommend the Efteling, it was so good. Not in Vlissingen but a short train/bus

Vlissingen is a beautiful little city that is great for a relaxing weekend or few days away from home. It is relatively quiet, but the restaurants and cafés make for a great ambiance. The beaches are a beautiful sight and great for a stroll or just to sit down on and watch the ships come by.
I would highly recommend going to SOIF for dinner or even just some drinks!

After 4 days in Amsterdam and 3 on The Hague we went south.
After 4 days in Amsterdam and 3 on The Hague we went south. Vlissingen in September was still very nice. We had warm days and rainy days but I was still nice. There are some lovely cafe/ restaurants in Bellamy Park where we ate often. Very reasonable and excellent food and service at SOIF. We rented ebikes in town from Willie and had an amazing time riding all over Walcheren, to Middleburg, Veere and all the way around stopping at beach cafes when we wanted. The 55km ride is easily done on an e bike and so worth it. Enjoy!

It is really easy to get around Vlissingen.
It is really easy to get around Vlissingen. Especially as there is a car park, where you can park the first 3 hours free and it is only a 5 minute walk to the town centre.
There are a lot of different shops in town, which are nice to explore. Very nice is a walk along the Boulevard, which is 1000 meters long with a lot of nice cafe's and Restaurant and a great view of large ships passing.
Along the harbour and town centre are many lovely locations to east.
We been most of the time in the Vishami Restaurant, because of the lovely fish dishes they serve.
From the Railway station there is also the Ferry located which brings you across the Westerschelde to Breskens, which is a very enjoyable trip.

Calm small town. Not much to do, but OK for chilling around.
Calm small town. Not much to do, but OK for chilling around. Beach was OK-ish, I would suggest different ones. We used the town as our hub of stay. So everyday we drove out around Zeeland (different towns).

‘Deluxe studio’ was spacious and tastefully furnished, with a sofa at one end and a full sized fridge and cooker and coffee machine. This was a little way down the road from the main hotel where we had breakfast. We could bring the car up to load and unload then parked for free about half a mile away. Buffet breakfasts were excellent, lots of variety and nicely presented. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Location very central.
Located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, is very close to the centrum, restaurants and the beach, so it's perfect is you're visiting Vlissingen for a few days.
The place was perfectly clean, and Raymond, the owner, is a nice and polite host. Breakfast is varied and very healthy. Great big beds.
The staff is flexible and polite. The breakfast was simple but delicious. Everything was clean and freshly painted. Overall it's a great experience. Our room was right above the street but it was fairly quiet. The supermarket is 15 meters away from the hotel.
