We had a wonderful Christmas stay at the Hilton in Venice! We were thrilled to be upgraded to the tower suites – the room was incredibly spacious and had one of the most breathtaking views we’ve ever seen. The hotel itself is large and beautifully maintained, with plenty of space to relax. One of the highlights was the convenient hotel ferry, which made it so easy to visit different islands. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, with a great variety to choose from each morning. The staff were warm, attentive, and really made us feel welcome despite the busy holiday period. It was a perfect holiday experience, and we’d love to stay here again!

We only had a couple of nights and one full day to finish our main holiday - it was a lovely place to end. Venice is beautiful and I'll return for another visit. We had a good walk around venice, did a tour, stayed in a lovely part of town. It was over xmas holidays so the decorations looked pretty. The main attractions were very crowded, I don't think I'd enjoy it in the summer! But we had an amazing time, had a gondola ride and a tour of St Mark's Square, Doge's palace and the new prisons and ate some wonderful food. Will be back!

Venice is full of charm.
Venice is full of charm. There are no cars or bicycles so no pollution or noise. Prepare to get everywhere by boat or walking. It is a large city, but the boats run constantly. If you are departing from the Marco Polo airport, the easiest way to get there is by boat but give yourself plenty of time since the ride is about one hour.

Venice is a city like no other, with its enchanting canals, historic architecture, and romantic atmosphere. From iconic landmarks like St. Mark's Basilica and the Rialto Bridge to charming narrow streets filled with artisan shops and cafes, every corner offers something magical. A gondola ride is a must for soaking in the beauty of the waterways, while indulging in authentic Italian cuisine and fresh seafood completes the experience. Though crowded during peak seasons, the unique charm of Venice makes it an unforgettable destination.

It was very crowded to the point that it effects the stay negatively. The city is beautiful, the people/locals do their best to be accommodating. Everyone's patience is thin because of the crowds. Visitors do not respect the local ways and customs and often don't research before they arrive.

Not enough words to describe Venice.
Not enough words to describe Venice. Walk, explore with your senses, eat pastries and get lost in her narrow cobblestone street when you will eventually be rewarded by the light of the laguna and the magnificence of her beauty.

The Sonder is located in a best part of Venice Dorsoduro, close to major attractions and easily reachable by vaporetto or on foot. Dorsoduro is a very bohemian but well kept part of Venice with lovely squares and restaurants, churches, not to mention museums. The hotel is very modern which is exceptional for Venice and maybe for Italy, with great facilities and lovely comfort. My room was big and everything was working perfectly, the safety box, the TV and the lights. The Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I found the service excellent
The central location was very convenient. Every staff member we met was polite efficient and genuinely interested in making our stay better. Special thanks to Marco on the desk at night for the engaging conversation and insights into life in Venice and Italy in general. Breakfast was lovely too, great coffee to set you up for your day. The decor was olde world style which added to the ambiance. We would recommend this hotel. Mick & Una
This hotel was wonderful, it had everything we needed in the room and a very spacious shower which is something as tall people we struggled to find in Italy! The bed was comfortable and very quiet for saying how central the hotel was to busy areas. All the big attractions were only short walks away and the air conditioning was wonderful to escape the Venice Heat! Great to have a safe available too.
- AMAZING everything was perfect
- we actually got upgraded to the sister hotel “Al Cadega” and it was perfect
- the breakfast was incredible - one of the best ever
- lovely quiet location (Serenissima is right around the corner)
- walking distance to all major sights
- helpful and friendly staff
- the most comfy beach and a large room for Venice
Great location, wonderful hotel breakfast was beyond what we expected, best one in three wok trip in Italy. First time that we did not have stale croissants. The hotel did upgrade us from a junior suite to a suite very nice. Also on first night there was a complimentary bottle of wine very appreciated.
