These were cute little cabin-style rooms. They were comfy with a decent sized bathroom. The lady at check-in was very friendly, and the location is only a short drive away from Höfn.

We loved this town and wish we had been able to stay 2 nights! It was rainy and foggy during our stay so could not really see the full beauty of it. We went to the tourist information center and were greeted by a very helpful women. We booked a family room and the space is alright and the facilities is just acceptable. The cabins were constructed next to a some kind of a truck workshop and the reception is 1km away. I had booked 2 rooms because I had 3 people and Bookings.com said I had to have 2 rooms, when in fact there were 3 beds, so always doublecheck this with hotel. Rooms and bathroom are large and well equiped. You have complimetary te or coffe. You enter the room directly from the outside, very convenient if you want to watch auroras (difficult in any case). Buffet breakfast is simple but good and reasonably priced, taking into account Icelandic standards. If you arrive out of hours, they leave the key at reception.TomasSpain
