The apartment was gorgeous with loads of parking outside. Ann made us feel very welcome with freshly made bread on the kitchen counter when we checked in. Such a fab surprise plus it tasted amazing.

The property was as described and perfect for our needs. It was such a help to have a well stocked fridge as I arrived later than planned. The hosts were exceptionally welcoming and very knowledgeable about the local area. We have very pleasant memories of our stay here.

A well thought through offering, carefully presented!
Beautiful spot. We stayed for one night. The villages are lovely but there is a lot of traffic, however there is a new road and bridge being built.
Lots of pubs and restaurants.
Easy to walk around.
It can be very busy when there is a wedding taking place.

Killaloe is a very attractive village.
Killaloe is a very attractive village. At the moment there is a lot of roadworks which delays you driving around. I have stayed twice and would stay again. Highly recommend the cruise on Lough Derg.

Walking around Killaloe’s quaint narrow streets, flanked by old shops. Lovely St Flannan’s Church with Oratory. Nice walking over the Bridge. Here you can take a River Cruise boot tour, that shows you the spot where the River Shannon meets Lough Derg. Flanagan’s pub on the river bank has a beer garden and great Pizza.

Killaloe was convenient for visit to Nenagh. The area was very nice took a walk into town (but weather was against me). Drove around Lough Derg and the scenery is lovely. Hotel is set in lovely surroundings, staff very helpful, food good you won't go hungry. Very comfortable bed, tea/coffee in room. Good choice of Spa treatments.

Killaloe is a gem of a place, partnered across the mighty Shannon river with Ballina on the other side. Killaloe Hotel and Spa Hotel is on the Co. Clare side with beautiful location waterside and scenic views. It was mid-Winter, Dec.26th. and the spirit of Christmas was palpable in the hotel with warmth among Staff and guests and the heating, decorations and lights aglow. THANKS

Visited many times as I have family there.
Visited many times as I have family there. Lost a lot of it's magic, probably since covid. There were approx. 14 pubs, now only 2. Very expensive for food and drink. Views on the river and lake are fab, a must see. Locals very friendly, everyone says 'hello' how are you? Which was refreshing.
Walk over the old bridge into Ballina for more to do, 2min walk.

We stayed here for 1 night for a wedding at the Lakeside Hotel. It is a 2km walk from the hotel, & very close to Killaloe. The host, Norman, was so welcoming and accommodating. The room was lovely, big, clean, quiet, with a lovely view. Breakfast was delicious. I would definitely stay here again, and recommend it.
