Staff could not have been more helpful or accommiodating
Room was really big and comfy bed
Bathroom was spotless and towels were like new
Breakfast was fantastic with every possible requirement available
We also had dinner and had complimentary cocktail

Clonakilty was recommended to us by a friend as she had visited with family on a holiday. Loved this little seaside town, which had plenty to offer in the way of things to see and do. We could easily have spent a few days here happily, relaxing or looking for a bit to get out and do. I feel that as travellers on an international trip, it gave us a great opportunity to experience what I saw as the real Ireland - a true little town which held such history and a passion for its people. I was there to attend a wedding. I did not take a car so I did not see much of Clonakilty itself. I think a car is necessary as it is just outside Clonakilty. I did see the sea and beaches from the taxi and they looked nice.FrancesIreland - Scored 1010

Great town with lots of pride and several fun cultural experiences. The Clonakilty Black Pudding Visitors Center was great. The Clonakilty Distillery is a great tour and tasting experience. Lovely quaint old world charm town.
Lovely quaint old world charm town. Very colourful and clean. Great selection of shops and information of things to see and do in the area. Take the train for a tour around the town for all ages. Lovely location as a base for exploring deeper into west Cork or just relaxing in one of the many beaches in the area. If you get the weather there is no place to beat this part of Ireland.JohnIreland

Thoroughly enjoyed the artefacts and pictures decorated throughout the hotel, a real history lesson. There is a snug room on each floor, complete with a library of books. The hotel, thankfully, has a lift. Choose from one of the many eating places on the premises. Hotel is dated BUT this adds to the character of the place, wouldn't want it to change.
