I recently stayed at this hotel and it exceeded my expectations in so many ways. The view from the room was absolutely stunning—waking up to such a breathtaking sight each morning was a highlight of my stay. The swimming pool was well-maintained and provided a relaxing environment to unwind. I also had the pleasure of using the spa facilities, including the sauna, which were top-notch. The spa area was clean, comfortable, and a perfect way to de-stress.
The staff was friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. My room was spacious, modern, and equipped with all the necessary amenities, making my stay comfortable and enjoyable. I appreciated the peaceful ambiance throughout the property, which allowed me to truly relax and escape.
If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort, stunning views, and great facilities, this hotel is a fantastic choice. I can’t wait to come back for another visit!

We liked our room, everything was perfectly clean, all mentioned facilities were present, the room also had a balcony with a beautiful view on the mountains.
We were warmed by the hostess's hospitality. If you want breakfast in the morning or dinner in the evening you can always ask about that for additional pay. Also we got a bit unlucky and didn't have necessary medications with us and the hostess happily helped us with that issue.
Totally recommend these accommodations if you want value for money and you want to have a great experience exploring Svanetia.

Mestia, capital of Svaneti region. The BEST region in Georgia & the best region I visited so far in Europe! There is no other place like Svaneti. The mountains are gorgeous, you cannot capture it in pictures. They have lovely ancient culture. Traditional foods like Kubdari, tashmijab, Svan salt and more. Svaneti has an incredibly interesting history with many little museums. Friendly people & the town has a very calm countryside village vibe when you go off the main road. It might take a bit longer to get here by car, but it’s absolutely worth it!!
I recommend for:
-Traditional Svan food: Chalet Mestia Restaurant
-Fast food: Setis Shouarma (very tasty shoarma!!)
-Coffee: Erti Kava (is a bit more expensive!)
-BBQ food: Mestia BBQ Garden (in summer only)
-Museum: Ratiani House Museum (must visit if you want to know more abour Svan culture!)
If you can definetly take a day trip to Ushguli with one of the shared taxi’s or marshrutkas.

Mestia has beautiful spots too hike, little too much touristy when I compare other remote places in Georgia. I suggest to discover outside of it too not only populat Mestia hiking routes, there are glaciers, lakes and waterfalls around.

Scenic, snow capped, mountains and landscapes around.
Scenic, snow capped, mountains and landscapes around. Many options for trekking during summer. Ski resorts during winter. The drive to Mestia is an experience in itself. Self drivable mountain roads, 5 hrs from Kutaisi and 5.5 hrs from Batumi.
Better to drive an SUV as couple of view points/ attractions have no paved roads. However, a regular sedan should work with extra caution.

We were in Mestia at the end of the winter season (end of March). If you want to ski relaxed and without queues in the middle of the great scenery of the Caucasus: Tetnuldi (30 to 40 minutes by car from the hotel) is an absolute insider tip!!! A smaller ski area is only 5 minutes away.
Modern chairlifts, slopes well prepared......breathtaking views. A real alternative for skiing to the crowded skiresorts in the Alps!

Noteworthy details at Lastili Inn Hotel in Mestia included the meticulous attention to cleanliness, creating a welcoming ambiance. The host’s exceptional generosity stood out, from the complimentary museum visit to guiding us to a superb restaurant. The exquisite Svanetian cuisine, featuring Kubdari and Ostri, added a flavorful touch to our stay. The thoughtful gesture of organizing a delightful breakfast showcased the genuine warmth and hospitality that made our experience truly memorable.
Room was comfortable, family run, staff were very helpful, breakfasts were best we had in Georgia, just huge. Has a section under construction not on pics, was surprised when we arrived all looks a bit rough but did not impact our room or our stay. Short walk to central Mestia and even better short walk to old part of town with towers and quaint restaurants
Perfect place to stay at Mestia! Are room was extremely clean, common corridor was so cozy - we even spend a couple of evenings in it!
View from balcony was amazing - you could see most svaneti towers.
Anna and her family is one of the best housekeepers we had ever met!
The property is at a gorgeous location, with views on Mestia and the Caucasus. The cottage have everything you need and the staff is incredibly helpful and speak English. The best stay in Svaneti we’ve had, absolutely recommend going here!
Very well located guesthouse/hotel in Mestia. In an older attractive part of town, very close to restaurants etc. Simple ‘alpine’ design. Smallish room with very welcome balcony. Buffet breakfast fine.
